Hello! My name is Jess – I am a Clinical assistant and the face that will likely greet you in our Bobcaygeon and Peterborough locations!
My passion for psychology was fueled by my experience of growing up with parents that provided fostering for many children with mental health, developmental disabilities and a variety of emotional and behavioural challenges. Opening our home allowed me firsthand opportunities to understand social services, welcome new family members and want to make a difference in the quality of life for children. This led me to obtain my honours degree in psychology at Trent University. I believe kindness and inclusion are fundamentals to successful encounters and healthy relationships. This position gives me the ability to utilize my interest in administration and pair it with my career goal of working in the mental health field with an awesome team!
I love to be surrounded by laughter, sunshine and nature. I have three wonderful little boys with infectious smiles – spending time with my family and appreciating our happy, loud chaos is what I do to restore balance. When the chaos is a little too loud, I enjoy a peaceful walk down our country roads with my big black lab 😊
